Trend Watch: Marsala

The new year brings with it an announcement every trend watcher looks forward to with glee: Pantone’s colour of the year. This year, the very clever people at the Colour Institute have dubbed Marsala the colour of 2015 – and very nice it is too. You’ll be seeing a lot of this earthy red, as designers and stylists across the world embrace Marsala.

Named after the fortified wine, this sultry statement colour is bursting with as much flavour as its namesake. The rich, heady shade works both by itself and as a strong accent colour. We’ve put together a selection of our favourite products to help work this versatile shade into your home. Say hello to Marsala.

Loving the colour and to celebrate buying a house with my ‘better half’ we are looking at using this colour as an accent wall in our house to remind us of moving in later on this year! Yipee!
