Staycation: Garden Camping

Summer is well and truly here, and with the school holidays just around the corner there’s only one thing on our mind. A well-deserved break. This year however, we’re doing things a little differently. Rather than battling with bulging suitcases or enduring the unnecessary evils of passport control, we’re holidaying at home. That’s right ladies and gentleman, the Great British Staycation has landed.

While we can’t promise glorious sunshine, we can help you plan the perfect retreat, all in the comfort of your own home. To get you started, here’s our guide to camping in the back garden.

Camping isn’t renowned for being relaxing. In fact, we’re often plagued by memories of damp clothes, bad food and unfavourable showering conditions. But it doesn’t have to be that way. When you pitch a tent in the garden, you’re never too far from a tumble drier, your hardy stove, or a clean bathroom.

So get back in touch with nature – without having to forgo any of life’s little luxuries – with a mini break ‘chez moi’. You can watch the stars from beneath your canvas haven, roast marshmallows over a blazing campfire and enjoy quality time with your nearest and dearest without even leaving home.

Happy Camping!

Love your deckchairs – there must be a market for these round the South East coast now that the sun has arrived.
Just as good in your back garden as well as on beach.
    Loving them!!!
