Spring has (nearly) sprung, which in our books calls for a celebration. With Easter just around the corner – and plenty of spring soirees in the offing – it’s time to put your entertaining skills to the test and prepare for friends and family to descend.
Keeping things fresh and simple whilst weaving in new season trends will have your guests applauding your styling prowess – throw in a hot cross bun gin cocktail, and they’ll be having a wail of a time.
Sorbet shades and organic materials are the name of the game when it comes to creating the ultimate spring table. First things first, decide on a colour palette: we’ve chosen chalky pastels, with pink, green and blue tones to create a light and playful look. Be sure to highlight these colours in your crockery and linen, as well as the table decorations. Top tip: layering table cloths in contrasting colours creates a sense of softness perfect for spring.
Decorate your table with seasonal goodies. As it’s very nearly Easter, we’ve opted for a chocolate center-piece, wild flowers and a hand dyed eggs. A Spring wreath is also a lovely addition to any room, we love this one from our seller The Easter Home.

When it comes to keeping the family entertained at Easter, there’s only one solution: chocolate. And lots of it. We love the idea of using Chocolate on Chocolate’s Giant Chocolate Hen as a centerpiece. Not only is it a great talking point, but the kids will love the golden eggs hidden in a hollow at the back.
Surprise grown up guests with a seasonal cocktail. Our Hot Cross Bun Gin from Gin Tales is a beautiful aromatic blend of citrus, sultanas and Easter spices.
