wedding shoe show offs!

We were ever-so-lucky to be prancing around our stand in Glasgow at the Scottish Wedding Show in some exquisite footwear, this weekend just been. The very lovely and talented Rachel Simpson provided us each with a pair of her wedding shoes to match our gorgeous nototonthehighstreet.com outfits for this show season (more on those to come soon).

The shoes were stylish, comfortable and very much admired by the many couples who visited our stand. We felt extremely lucky to be showing them off. Bridal shoes aren’t something we want to hide away under a dress anymore, they are an important style consideration and judging by her beautiful award-winning designs, this is something Rachel Simpson understands all too well.

At the Designer Wedding Show, Merryn was sporting the bright and sassy Lola Round Toe Shoes and Jo wore the classic Marilyn Suede Court Shoes, with both ladies opting for bolder tones.

This weekend in Scotland, Christine and I opted for vintage-inspired wedding shoes. Christine chose the delectable Carmen Satin T Bar Platform Shoes, with flashes of cool metallic leather detailing. I on the other hand chose Venetia Leather Peep Toe Platform Shoes, to match my fifties-inspired floral tea dress; I love them as they remind me of ballroom dancing shoes!

Fran and Louise couldn’t resist some of the quirkier styles, both of which were made of lace material! Both designs are cool but also very unique. Fran slipped on the Duchess Brocade Vintage Style Shoes – fit for royalty and a bride looking for something a bit different. Louise decided on the versatile Lily Lace and Satin Peep Toe Shoes that would also work beautifully for bridesmaids footwear.

We would like to send a massive thank you to Rachel Simpson for lending us her gorgeous creations above. It was so lovely of you and we enjoyed every second of the show wearing your stunning bridal shoes.
