Luxury Wedding Styling
Following on from Friday’s luxury-inspired post on wedding gift list items, today I bring you a post brimming with luxe wedding styling ideas…
Starting with your tables; glass and metal with an antique twist create a luxurious look and can add an air of decadence to your table decorations. Scatter a mix of these Vintage Style Tealights and these Royal Tealight Holders (incredibly only £16.95 for six!) and light for a romantic and stylish cluttered look. You may think that candelabra centrepieces would be a costly styling choice, but The Orchard offer these beautiful Mottled Candlesticks,as a set of three, that you could either group or separate across your tables, for £30 as a set.
For table centrepieces, large and full floral arrangements are the ultimate in luxury wedding styling; elaborate but chic. To create the right effect, choosing the perfect luxe style receptacle is key, we love the Vintage Styled Glass Vase, the French Lace Porcelain Vase and the Silver Lantern Vases. If you want to add some understated luxury style and to keep it simple with your table decoration then a collection of the French Ball Vases With Roses by new seller, The Florists of Barrowford, are perfect and come in sets of four. The Aged Metal Birdcage would make an extremely cool centrepiece for tables. A bouquet made of the same white flowers in a simple glass vase would look striking placed inside the cage. To sprinkle a bit of luxe into your table number/names display, design and print your own table names or simply print numbers in a font of your choice and slot them into these beautifully luxurious frames by Lavender Room.
For luxury favours, any of the following would fit a decadent brief beautifully; the Candle Heart Favour are presented so nicely and the Little Wooden Letters add a personal touch. For the ultimate in luxury favours, why not provide each guest with a mini bottle of Personalised Champagne? Or for a more budget friendly approach to the decadent, a decorative Favour Box filled with Pink Marc De Champagne Truffles, I’m sure would be very well received by guests!
For luxury styling extras, decorate your venue and reception space with a mix of the following; Crystal Acrylic Garlands, Morrocan Lights and Wooden Letters from Letters Etc’s ‘Decadent Range’. Guests books are a touching and important part of your day but can easily be forgotten in the melee of wedding planning. I love Noble Macmillan’s Wedding Guest Book. If you’re looking for something a bit different to a guest book then the Personalised Wedding Signing Frame is a great way to continue the luxury into your home as it comes with a choice of large ornate vintage style frames.
Finally to CAKES! A deliciously decadent choice of cake will not only look the part at a luxury style wedding but it will serve to indulge your guests and their taste buds, making the right choice doubly important. We love the Lilly Beau creation and the Miss Lacey Four Tier Wedding Cake from Delovely Cakes and the Fresh Blooms Three Tier Cake from Cakes By Robin. For an alternative to a large cake, to have on tables or to dot around the venue for guests, the Marie Antoinette Collection of cupcakes carefully layered within this glass Cakestand and Dome would be ridiculously hard to resist. For a slightly cheaper option (but equally luxe chic) the cakes placed upon this Glass Bead Cake Stand would have the same wow factor!
