get your dancing shoes on

At the weekend I attended the Winchester Hat Fair – the longest running festival of street theatre and outdoor arts, all for free! It was full of acrobatic acts and entertaining performances from all around Europe, with a tea party in the afternoon jam-packed with swing dancing. Creating the ultimate party atmosphere a neighbouring wedding couldn’t help but stop by. The newlyweds grabbed their dancing shoes and gave the crowd a twirl around the dance floor – truly a magical moment you only ever imagine in fairy tales!

Keep up with this twinkle toed couple by making sure the shoes you share your special day with will keep you in the limelight. From stiletto heels to ballet flats there’s so much choice to create the impact you wish for. After all, what you wear on your feet is almost as important as the wedding dress itself as you’ll spend a majority of the time standing up.

Strut your stuff in a pair of bold Plum Court Heels to make a statement or if you prefer a more subtle touch these Satin and Brocade Fabric Kitten Heel Shoes, finished off with a an oversize bow on the toe are perfect – you definitely won’t mind them peaking from beneath your dress! But if you want to venture further from the catwalk trail, surprise your guests by wearing Ivory Wellies for a bit of festival fun! Or treat your feet to a glam pedi and show it off in Flip Flops, whether you’re off to a destination wedding or want to opt for comfort.

Why not incorporate wedding tradition into your shoe choice too? Kate Moss opted for her Manolo Blahnik heels to be that ‘something blue’ with a blue sole, a modern twist on the tradition. To follow in the footsteps of the supermodel, these
Light Blue Satin Peep Toe Platforms are very on trend.

You might have noticed that we’re having a wedding shoe moment in the office this week!
