BRAND NEW SELLERS: JANUARY EDIT
Every month, we welcome some of the UK and Ireland’s best small creative businesses through our virtual doors. As we near the end of January (goodbye treadmills and kale smoothies) it’s time to say hello to some new faces.
Masters of innovation and design, these makers will have you updating your wishlists in no time. Meet four of this month’s newest sellers.
COLOURFUL CHARACTERS FROM JULIA STAITE
With a background in illustration, Julia Staite designs homeware, toys and cards featuring her colourful quirky characters. From cats to cacti, she makes all of her products at her home studio in leafy Epping, Essex – her two young daughters are always on hand for a spot of product testing too!
BEAUTIFUL HOMEWARE FROM ROSIE MOSS
Textile designer, Rosie Moss, lovingly dyes, paints, screen prints and sews every one of her creations in her little Birmingham studio, meaning no two designs are ever the same. With quality at the forefront of everything she does, Rosie strives to make simple, sophisticated and playful products that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike.
PLAYFUL PAPERCUTS FROM FIONA CLABON ILLUSTRATION
Armed with scissors and plenty of paper, Fiona creates colourful collages from her home in Bristol. Combining her love of printmaking with collaging techniques, her work is all about simple shapes and contrasting colours. Each collage is made with thought, care, precision and a little fun.
HAND-CRAFTED JEWELLERY FROM ESSENTIA BY LOVE LILY ROSE
After rediscovering her creative side following the birth of her second daughter, Lorna happened upon silver clay and fell in love with the idea of creating jewellery for people to treasure. Her new, luxury fashion-led collection is designed and hand crafted at her home studio in the Essex countryside.
