double success at the Media Momentum awards...

Earlier this month we posted that notonthehighstreet.com had been included in the Media Momentum Top 50, an exclusive list of the hottest digital media companies in Europe. Holly and Sophie jetted off to Barcelona last week where the awards ceremony took place, and waited with baited breath while the countdown from 50 took place… And we’re excited to announce that we were named an impressive 16th on the prestigious list! We were highlighted as one of the fastest growing digital businesses, a massive achievement for notonthehighstreet.com and its partners. We’re honoured to have been recognised alongside some of the most innovative digital companies in Europe.

But this wasn’t our only achievement of the night: Holly and Sophie were presented with the Women of the Year award! Leading the way for other female entrepreneurs is something Holly and Sophie are extremely passionate about, and this award is a testament to their outstanding achievements to date. We couldn’t be prouder.

A momentous success

Next week Sophie and Holly will be jetting off to sunny Barcelona – because we’ve made it into the elusive Media Momentum Top 50, a list of the hottest and fastest growing digital media companies in Europe!

A judging panel of high profile entrepreneurs and industry experts considered notonthehighstreet.com to be one of the top businesses on their radar, meaning that we’re officially among the ‘who’s who’ of the digital media world.

By day Sophie and Holly will be brainstorming with Europe’s most successful entrepreneurs and business leaders, and by night they’ll be attending a glittering awards ceremony at the gorgeous beachside W Hotel. We’re in with a chance of winning awards that recognise innovation, leadership, women of the year, global growth potential and all-round excellence in the digital sector – so please keep your fingers crossed for us!

best in the business...

We are thrilled to announce that Sophie has been shortlisted for the coveted Business Ambassador role for Stylist, the free weekly UK magazine. Stylist were looking for an experienced entrepreneur who is eager to harness their own success in business to help Stylist readers achieve the same and who is able to offer inspiring, informed advice about entrepreneurship.

There were thousands of applicants but Sophie stood out as a clear contender for the role and has been named as one of just five finalists. We are so proud! Published in this week’s edition is the feature where Sophie and the other finalists give their key tips to inspire others thinking of setting up their own businesses. The winner will become a weekly columnist and will be announced in the coming weeks so stay tuned.

The Make Awards celebrate these businesses – their creativity, their passion for design and the impeccable customer service they offer.

The awards will highlight the people behind the businesses, the stories behind the products, and celebrate the very best from within our seller community. Our sellers can nominate themselves within four categories and we are also asking our customers to vote for their favourite products and partners.
