HOW TO PROPOSE
Top tips from the experts, The Proposers themselves:
The thought of proposing can often be a daunting one, but remember these basic tips and we promise you’ll be absolutely fine:
- Tailor the proposal to him. What does you partner like or dislike? If he likes fishing write ‘Will You Marry Me,’ on little note and attach it to his hook. If he’s an avid coffee drinker, why not personalise the bottom of his mug?
- Find the right location. Do you have a spot that you always go together or is there somewhere that you’ve both always wanted to visit? Make sure that you find a romantic place where you both feel comfortable to pop the question.
- Get him a ring. If your boyfriend is the kind of man who wears jewellery then definitely get him a ring. Man-gagement rings are quickly gaining popularity and will really add a sense of occasion to your proposal . If he doesn’t like to wear a ring, why not buy him a watch instead. That way at least he’ll remember to get to the church on time!
