8 December: Meet Cora and Cari-Jane
Today’s Advent countdown is family-orientated, featuring Cora Norrey, one of our Merchandisers, and jewellery made by Cari-Jane Hakes, who just happens to be Cora’s sister! In fact, it’s Cora’s birthday and Cari-Jane has given her this Personalised Family Tree Necklace as her birthday present.
“The necklace that I am holding is actually made by my sister Cari. It is her 30th birthday present to me. It has one leaf with my initial and one with Pete’s (Cora’s husband), both on the same branch. I love all the genius incarnations of the family tree that we have on the site but obviously Cari’s is my favourite. It’s so simple, unique and not too overwhelming in an obvious sense. It’s a really classy way to keep your own little family tree close to your heart always. And of course I can always add branches if needs be.”
Cora and Christmas
This is a particularly special Christmas for Cora this year, as she and her husband Pete will spending it with family in their new home!
By 1 December Cora’s house had already transformed into a festive notonthehighstreet.com grotto, as she has been glued to the site (in between working hard of course) stocking up on all things Christmas since August! One of her many purchases includes the Stamp Your Own Christmas Tree Baking Kit by StompStamps. With this she hopes to make a lovely centrepiece for the whole family to enjoy looking at as well as eating!
In addition to potential bankruptcy due to spending far too much money on the site, this is what notonthehighstreet.com means to Cora: “notonthehighstreet.com is my go-to place for pretty much everything in my life, from home decor and fashion to presents, cards and wrap”.
