What’s your name and your job title?
Hi, I’m Matt Roberts, the Operations Excellence Manager, and I look after business improvement.
What did you dream of being when you were growing up and why?
I wanted to be a professional tennis player because I love exercise, competition and travelling the world. Since going on a few adventures backpacking, I think I would also have been content being an adventurer or someone who leads expeditions…
Tell us some of the less ordinary things about you.
I trekked to reach Machu Picchu, an Inca Village in Peru, and arrived there on my 21st birthday. I will always remember the stunning four day hike and the first glimpse of this spectacular ancient city.
What three words might your friends use to sum you up?
Adventurous, loyal and excitable.
What made you want to work at notonthehighstreet.com?
The opportunity to work in an industry-defining company was very exciting for me. I wanted to contribute to a thriving ecosystem of small businesses that produce exceptional products and bring smiles to our customers’ faces.

There are so many! Although, my best day here has to be at our ALM (annual love-in meeting) where our strategy was revealed and brought to life with inspiring sessions in a theatre!
