Every few weeks we will be doing a favour for you. We’re going to dedicate a post to some of the prettiest and original favours available for you to buy, as well as inspiring you to get creative with some unique DIY favour ideas, too.
Many brides-to-be find choosing their favours a tricky part of wedding planning. Essentially, you need to think of one small token that would be appropriate to give to ALL of your wedding guests. If that isn’t challenging enough, there are other key considerations that need to be made when choosing, such as: cost, bulk availability, finding personalised favours and will the concept tie-in or match with your chosen wedding theme? That is why the Weddings Team, will be bringing you collections of favour ideas and hopefully inspiring you to ‘think outside the box’ and find the perfect favours for your wedding day.
This week, I have found the cream of the crop in paper favour ideas! The paper offerings available are diverse, ranging from simple and classic to quirky and cool. Paper can easily be personalised, allowing you to add a special touch and it can make for a cheaper option too.
Details of all the featured favours can be found below:
For an eco-inspired favour choice, the seed paper Plantable Scroll Favours or Plant a Posy, would look great. The Plantable Wildflower Paper Tags are simple and could be decorated with a message or stamps and could even be used as place names. The idea of planting a bloom from the day is not only ethical and eco-friendly but lovely and symbolic, too.
The Origami Bird Favour is a fun and quirky idea. Each one comes in three types of vintage floral paper and they can be personalised with a sweet or funny message to each guest.
Finally, for the ultimate in paper – a mini notebook! The Set of Four Forest Notebooks have a retro/vintage feel and the Fair Trade Sari Notebooks are an ethical and ethnic inspired choice that can be selected in a range of feminine, masculine or unisex colours.
