We are in week three of our office bootcamp, run by personal trainer John Limpus. We thought it might be getting easier by now, but we seem to be experiencing the opposite, probably because John is making it harder (we are getting stronger though apparently which is nice to hear!). Bootcamp is definitely not easy, but John makes it fun, thinking up exercises with names like ‘cash converters’ and ‘the accumulator’, making it a much more interesting way to get fit than the hot sweaty gym alternative. And is a really amazing way to wake up in the morning, running around with team mates in the sun next to the river. Our team exercise yesterday involved going to ‘hell and back’ (perhaps not the best name for an exercise on one of the hottest days of the year!) and we survived, so bring on the next session!
